Jake began his career in the health industry after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2016. Since then, he’s channeled his passion for health and wellness into working as a personal trainer and weightlifting coach, where he guided clients of all backgrounds toward their fitness goals through practical, evidence-based coaching.
In recent years, Jake has transitioned away from one-on-one coaching and moved behind the page as a writer and editor. His hands-on expertise has led Jake to be featured in multiple publications as a subject matter expert, in addition to having written and edited hundreds of scientific articles on nutrition and exercise.
