Andrew Gutman is a NASM-certified personal trainer and journalist with a decade of experience covering fitness and nutrition. Andrew majored in Sports journalism and communications from Springfield College.

He began his editorial career in 2015 as an associate editor at Muscle & Fitness magazine, eventually becoming fitness editor. There, he interviewed celebrities, curated all front-of-book training content, and managed multiple high-profile photo shoots.

He led a team of editors and writers, directed coverage of the Tokyo Olympics and World’s Strongest Man, and expanded the site’s reach by launching a bodybuilding vertical that drove millions of additional annual pageviews.

Today, Andrew writes about the intersection of fitness and culture for outlets like Men’s Health, Business Insider, and Gear Patrol. Outside of work, he trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, and bodybuilding. He’s also a proud stay-at-home dad to his first son and enjoys cooking recipes from his favorite food creators—when he can find the time.
