Nick English holds a double master's degree in journalism and International relations from Monash University and a BA in Sociology and French from the University of Queensland. Nick has reported on issues related to nutrition, fitness, and public health for over a decade. His coverage has included cholera outbreaks in Kenya, HIV in China, MMA in New York, Olympic weightlifting in Peru, and hosting the World's Strongest Man's web show.
Since arriving in New York City over ten years ago, he's worked in every corner of online health media: from writing recipes for scrappy startups to managing board-certified doctors at one of the internet's most trafficked health websites.
While he spent many years covering sports nutrition, his passion lies in simple and actionable advice for normal people. There's so much content out there that improving your health can easily feel overwhelming and impractical — but better health doesn't have to involve food scales or daily gym visits.
When he's not pondering new ways to cook lentils or working on his ever stagnant overhead press, Nick runs the menswear blog Stridewise.
